FreelanceSwitch: community resource for freelancers
17 April 2007 | Categories: Innovation, Running a business | Leave a comment
Only a few weeks old, FreelanceSwitch is already an excellent resource for anyone who’s working as a freelancer, or thinking about making this move. The site is well designed, well written and most importantly, carries relevant and useful information and advice. Topics covered so far include pitching and client decision-making styles, taking care of your internet persona and staying motivated.
The FreelanceSwitch team is promising new features in the coming weeks too, including forums, a jobs board and a directory of freelance resources. May will see the launch of the 2007 Global Freelance Survey, which will compile data from around the world on freelance rates and methods of work.
Thanks to Kate at GraphicDesignBar for the tip-off about this new site.
