The Big Green Challenge from NESTA is a £1 million prize fund designed to encourage and reward people working together. The aim is to develop and implement new approaches that will lead towards a 60 per cent reduction of CO2 emissions in communities. It’s a fantastic opportunity for groups and communities to be really creative and entrepreneurial, while making a valuable contribution to finding new ways to tackle climate change.
I’ve joined the Big Green Challenge team to help spread word about the competition on the Big Green Challenge blog (you can check out my posts here) and elsewhere on the web too - you can find us on Facebook, YouTube, del.icio.us and Flickr.
